Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? EIN PSALM DAVIDS. [14:1]
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. HERR, wer darf weilen in deinem Zelt? Wer darf wohnen auf deinem heiligen Berge? canticum David Domine quis peregrinabitur in tentorio tuo et quis habitabit in monte sancto tuo
He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. Wer untadelig lebt und tut, was recht ist, und die Wahrheit redet von Herzen, (14:2) qui ingreditur sine macula et operatur iustitiam
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. wer mit seiner Zunge nicht verleumdet, wer seinem Nächsten nichts Arges tut und seinen Nachbarn nicht schmäht; (14:3) loquiturque veritatem in corde suo qui non est facilis in lingua sua neque fecit amico suo malum et obprobrium non sustinuit super vicino suo
He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved. wer die Verworfenen für nichts achtet, aber ehrt die Gottesfürchtigen; wer seinen Eid hält, auch wenn es ihm schadet; (14:4) dispicitur oculis eius inprobus timentes autem Dominum glorificat iurat ut se adfligat et non mutat
wer sein Geld nicht auf Zinsen gibt und nimmt nicht Geschenke wider den Unschuldigen. [14:5] pecuniam suam non dedit ad usuram et munera adversum innoxium non accepit qui facit haec non movebitur in aeternum
