| Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: | der du machst Winde zu deinen Boten und Feuerflammen zu deinen Dienern; | (103:3) qui tegis aquis cenacula eius qui ponis nubes currum tuum qui ambulas super pinnas venti |
| Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. | der du das Erdreich gegründet hast auf festen Boden, daß es bleibt immer und ewiglich. | (103:4) qui facis angelos tuos spiritus ministros tuos ignem urentem |
| Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. | Mit Fluten decktest du es wie mit einem Kleide, und die Wasser standen über den Bergen. | (103:5) qui fundasti terram super basem suam non commovebitur in saeculum et in saeculum |
| At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away. | Aber vor deinem Schelten flohen sie, vor deinem Donner fuhren sie dahin. | (103:6) abysso quasi vestimento operuisti eam super montes stabunt aquae |
| They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them. | Die Berge stiegen hoch empor, und die Täler senkten sich herunter zum Ort, den du ihnen gegründet hast. | (103:7) ab increpatione tua fugient a voce tonitrui tui formidabunt |

| Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house. | Dort nisten die Vögel, und die Reiher wohnen in den Wipfeln. | (103:16) saturabuntur ligna Domini cedri Libani quas plantasti |

| O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. | HERR, wie sind deine Werke so groß und viel! | The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works. | Die Herrlichkeit des HERRN bleibe ewiglich, der HERR freue sich seiner Werke! | (103:30) emittes spiritum tuum et creabuntur et instaurabis faciem terrae |
| He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke. | Er schaut die Erde an, so bebt sie; er rührt die Berge an, so rauchen sie. | (103:31) sit gloria Domini in sempiternum laetabitur Dominus in operibus suis |
